Hey everyone 💖
First of all, a big thank you to all my lovely readers for your messages, calls, reminders, and encouragement. Every time one of you says, “When’s your next blog coming?” it truly warms my heart. It reminds me that these words are not just mine, but a small way God speaks through me to touch hearts.
I’m so grateful for your love, support, and for taking the time to read, comment, and share your thoughts with me. Your DMs and kind words really mean more than I can express. They keep me inspired and excited to write again and again! 🌸
Now, let’s talk about something very close to my heart, something that has been stirring in my spirit lately.
No matter what, honor your parents.
We all chase after God’s blessings, asking Him to use us for His ministry. But before we go out into the world to serve, let’s remember our first ministry begins at home.
The first and most precious gift God gave you is your parents. Without honoring them, no matter how faithful you are in church, how often you pray, or how regularly you tithe, you cannot truly please your Heavenly Father.
Yesterday, during a conversation with my mommy, she shared a heartbreaking story that truly broke me.
There was a Christian couple once blessed and respected who were abandoned by their children over property issues. With no one to turn to, they rented a small house, surviving two months without paying rent. When the landlord asked for payment, they promised to settle it the next week… but before that week came, they ended their lives by electric shock.
Later, during the investigation, it was found that they didn’t even have food to eat. 💔
It shattered me into pieces. How could children who once depended on their parents for everything turn away like this?
We may have our differences with our parents. They might not always understand us. But no matter what, God commands us to honor them. It’s not optional it’s an act of obedience and love.
Without honoring our parents, our outward worship loses its meaning. Going to church, giving offerings, serving in ministry none of it can please our Heavenly Father if our hearts are not right at home.
So today, I pray:
Lord, I cover every youth under Your precious blood.
I cancel every plan and strategy of the enemy that tries to separate children from their parents.
Let our youth rise up to worship You with pure hearts, honoring their parents with love and respect.
Open their spiritual eyes and ears, Lord, and help them surrender their lives fully to You.
💫 Thank you once again for reading this blog till the end.
Your encouragement, your reminders, and your love keep me writing.
Keep sharing your thoughts, testimonies, and reflections in the comments or through DMs I absolutely love hearing from you!
Until next time, stay blessed, stay peaceful, and keep honoring the ones God gave you first your parents. 💕
With love and gratitude,
Binduja J. Pillai
